The small city aquarium of Siracusa (Syracuse)
Siracusa's aquarium is tiny, and it contains a small but colorful collection of Mediterranean fish and sea critters that are, for once, to be admired for their inherent beauty (as opposed be being ordered as part of a fritto misto at a local restaurant).
Really the only reason I even bother mentioning it here is that it has one big benefit that might convince you to bother paying admission.
As you exit the museum, you actually cross through the fenced-off area at the bottom of the Fonte Aretusa fountain—it's only way to get down there amid the ducks and papyrus.

Honestly, if it takes you more than 20 minutes to wander through, I'd be shocked. It would be the last place on my list of "things to do" in Siracusa.
