Getting around Amsterdam
Public transport in Amsterdam
Public transportation is excellent in Amsterdam, with an interlocking system of roads, bike lanes, trolley tracks, and canals, with an underground Metro (subway) system lying beneath it all.
It's also a wonderful walking city (just watch out for speeding bicycles).
The one method of transport I would avoid in Amsterdam is driving.
