Postonja Cave, 20 km of tunnels comprising the largest cavern system in Slovenia and the most visited show cave in Europe—and you'll know it, too, from the thousands who are churned through its system every hour on tours held in 15 different languages. The hordes are whisked right to the good stuff on a tiny train, like some carvinal ride only instead of being a house of horrors or tunnel of love, thsi one's devoted to geology. The tour itself is a 1km stroll past stalactites, stalagmites, candy-striped rock curtains, and ceilings covered in hanging rock spaghetti, all ending at a little pool in which paddle a couple of Proteus Anguins—the "Human Fish."
